Advanced Therapies 2021 | Developments in supply chain management

Robert Jones, VP, Global Bioservices, Cryoport, Brentwood, TN, gives an overview of the history and work conducted at Cryoport and their role in supply chain management. He describes the implementation of novel technologies and solutions into the supply chain process, including real-time temperature monitoring using GPS tracking, as well as new shipper designs, materials and processes. In addition, Cryoport plan to launch new supply chain services including bioservice facilities, which will provide storage, packaging and labelling resources and will allow the management of drug materials under good manufacturing practice (GMP)-compliant conditions.
