Carmine Gentile, PharmD/PhD, FAHA, University of Technology Sydney, Sydney, Australia, shares his highlights in the field of bioprinting at the 6th World Congress of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS 2021). Dr Gentile describes how current innovations in biofabricating tissues have enabled lower production costs, increasing the accessibility of technologies such as 3D printing to researchers, which will ultimately drive further progress in the field.
